Exercise Tips: Train like a rugby player during Lockdown

Regular exercise has been proven to help promote and maintain good mental health

Whether it’s a walk with the dog – or loved ones – a run or bike ride, these moments of self-care not only get the blood flowing and heart beating, but may also provide a few valuable minutes of peace to help calm the mind and heal the soul.

Earlier in the year HCRC Strength and Conditioning Coach, Robbie Brown, shared his lockdown training schedule for those who want to keep fit whilst we can’t train together. See the document attached to this article.

Note that this training program is aimed at the Senior Sqaud. Please also remember, only do as much as you feel you’re able to do! There are no extra ‘points’ for ending up in an exhausted, sweaty heap on the floor after each workout.
