All three Haslemere teams entered into the two pools and played some superb rugby and really showed us that the steep learning curve they were on for their first season of contact has not undermined their confidence. The day saw some excellent tries and some even better tackling. Crunching in some cases.

All the matches were close encounters and our Team C took 2nd spot overall, only being pipped to the post by a very strong Cranleigh A Team.

What was fantastic to see was the determined effort each and every boy put into the matches and how they played as a Team.

All the visiting Clubs said that they really enjoyed the tournament and the format. The way we played, the way we organised the event and the friendlessness of our Club will stand us in good stead for next years tournament.
